You might need to use a brim

Measure the width of your bolts/nuts across the flats of the head:
 

    M6: 10 mm
    M8: 13 mm
    M10: 16 mm
    M12: 18 mm
    M14 : 21 mm

Depending on the tolerances of your bolt, you may want to use the "tight fit" or the "loose fit".

If your bolt/nut does not fit any of these sizes, use the “custom size” plate, and scale it in your slicer:

Bolt Flat Width + Tolerances / 10 * 100 = Scale In Percent
