3D MODEL DESCRIPTION

This 3D-printed component is an innovative treble hook protector that has been specially developed for anglers to ensure the safety and durability of treble hooks. The compact part protects anglers from injuries caused by the sharp hooks, prevents the hooks from getting caught anywhere during transport and prevents the tips of the hooks from becoming blunt. Unlike conventional treble protection solutions, which can cause the hooks to gradually become blunt, this protection uses a magnetic mechanism. The treble hook is held securely in the sleeve provided, allowing safe transport of all types of artificial lures fitted with treble hooks without the hooks wearing out. To activate the magnetic mechanism, a small round magnet (diameter 10 mm, height 3 mm) is glued into the back of the treble hook guard, which holds the hook securely in position.
The assembly of this treble hook guard is simple and requires only a few steps. After 3D printing the component, a small round magnet (diameter 10 mm, height 3 mm) is first glued into the recess provided in the treble hook protector from behind. The magnet ensures that the treble hook is held firmly in the cover and does not slip out unintentionally. After inserting and fixing the magnet, the treble hook is simply inserted into the cover, where it is held securely in place by the magnetic force. The compact size of the component makes it easy to apply the protection to various types of artificial bait. As soon as the treble hook is needed, it can be easily removed from the cover and made ready for use again.
